Fever 5 Futbol is a developmental soccer game for youth soccer players (U8 - U18) in
which we have taken the best from the outdoor game of soccer and the best of
futsal and blended them together. In the Fever 5 Futbol League players will
constantly be placed in demanding decision-making situations, requiring quick
thinking, good ball control, precise passing, and creative solutions. Fever 5 Futbol was developed by Brad
Friedel's Premier Soccer Academies in 2006, their goal was to provide young
soccer players, in the winter months a game to get lot's of touches (like
futsal) on a larger field (like soccer) while allowing them to continue
touching the appropriate size ball the players have become accustomed to. In addition,
Rival Sports initiative is to provide a more realistic soccer
environment where size of field, goals, and number of players is appropriate to
the physical and psychological parameters of respective age groups.
